This complete PCE/TCE package of bioremediation products is how Micronovo supports both experienced hands and Environmental Consultants or Contractors with their first cVOC contaminated site remediation project. Proven over many treatments across Australia since 2014, Micronovo's solution takes the complexity out of treatment of chlorinated solvent contaminated groundwater (not just PCE, TCE, DCE and VC, but also CF and 1,2-DCA).
This is what our complete treatment amendment solution looks like for treating an aerobic aquifer contaminated with PCE or TCE!
The solution includes: anoxic water conditioning; Tersus EDS-Advanced (their Advanced Electron Donor System); Terus IronGEL; Micronovo's ActiTPH nutrients; and, our Micronovo's famous AusPCE dehalococcoides organohalide respiring bacteria!
This treatment package arrived at ARC Environmental client's site today. Next week Justin Kerr will be managing the injection (via wells) for Akke Ward and her client.
This is our first MADE IN AUSTRALIA amendment package! It's the same package as Pedro Balbachevsky & Nik Kontos used to cleanup a legacy TCE site in Orange NSW back in February 2025, but now all the Tersus EDS-Advanced components are made in Australia under licence from Tersus Environmental - reducing lead times and costs.
Huge thanks to Gary Birk David Alden and Sherri Scott of Terus for all their support (and trust in Micronovo) to commence local Australian manufacturing of the products Terus is famous for in North America.
The IronGEL (the best ZVI suspension in the world) has been provided by Carlo Bianco of DeltaNova - aquifer and soil remediation as an Australian first trial for ZVI injection via wells. IronGEL supports PCE/TCE remediation in several ways ... it abiotically destroys chlorinated ethenes, it provides H2 for dehalococcoides and it scavenges sulfides (toxic to dehalococcoides) that are produced by sulfur reducing bacteria that come out to play as/when we turn aquifers anoxic for dechlorination. EI Australia injected IronGEL via DPT and Pedro Balbachevsky will be presenting about this at Australasian Land & Groundwater Association (ALGA) Ecoforum in October.
